Replacing auto tires found on your trusty auto or a truck may easily become an annoying problem, especially taking into account recent massive variety on the market. When purchasing brand new or used tires, you must ask yourself all of these questions: How often do I drive my vehicle? What is the purpose of my car or a truck? What are the usual climate conditions when I commute? While addressing these kind of concerns, you’ll be sure to select the utmost tires at the affordable price tag. Another major thing to keep in mind is the type of tires that you will need to get. Auto tires are generally either wintertime, summertime or all-season designs – they differ through the structure of the thread on the surface of the tire, the chemical substances of the rubber and also other internal elements. You shouldn’t travel on wintertime tires during a summer and vice versa. Also it is important to keep in mind that all-season car tires are usually a wrong choice for very high or extremely low temperatures.

In an industry where you never know who you can trust, or who is going to screw you because you don’t really know anything about cars or tires, it’s hard to find a trustworthy place like Firestone.
I’ve never bought new tires here, but have went here several times when I was having issues with my tires. Ask for Mike Duncan – he is a great guy and will give you a straight answer, recommending what is best for your car AND affordable for you. He’s told me when my tires were worth repairing or when they needed to be scrapped. A patch here won’t set you back too far – I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than $15 getting the necessary repairs made.
Washington & Kitley isn’t exactly a very nice location, but if you are having tire issues and need help, go to Firestone and ask for Mike. He’ll take care of you

Heather H said: I recently got new tires for my ’05 Mustang here. They have some of the lowest prices in Indy, and the staff is very friendly. I’ve had bad experiences buying tires in the past, where the guys working at the tire place assumed I knew nothing about tires or cars – which is the opposite of the truth. I didn’t see any of that with any of the staff here. I dropped off the car, and about an hour later they called telling me my new tires were installed. Had I decided to stay and wait, they have several chairs on the far side of their lobby and what looks like a nice assortment of coffee and tea to drink while waiting. I’m loving my new tires, as driving in the rain is no longer a trip of terror fearing my car is going to go careening off the road sending me to an early grave. I think I’ll likely meet my maker in a fiery crash, but I no longer think it will be due to my tires.

Andrew F.: Unfortunately my car came with one of the worst follies ever foisted on the motoring public, run flat tires.
One of my tires picked up a piece of metal on Sunday afternoon, putting a 2 inch gash in the tire. If I had a real spare, I could just drop off the tire for repair, but thanks to BMW’s “wisdom” , I had to leave the car on a jack stand. Good thing I have tools, because BMW doesn’t even give you a jack anymore.
Anyway, I called Firestone in Castleton first thing Monday morning. The guy said he could get my exact replacement tire in 45 minutes. I dropped off the injured tire, and had my new tire mounted and ready to go by 9:45 am.

Elizabeth H: Wow. As someone who a) breaks out in a panic attack at the mere thought of car work and b) shares one car with someone which c) gets us both to 3 jobs + other life things, Harris Tire & Automotive was amazing. Phenomenal. Magnificent. As good as it gets.
After I finished breathing into a brown paper bag once the car broke down on the side of the road, we towed over and dropped off on a Saturday morning around 9am. I got a phone call with an informative, clear breakdown of the issues and their costs, and had my car back in working, happy order by 1pm that day.
The staff was helpful, our car is healthy, and my car repair-related anxiety attacks are a thing of the past. Highly recommended!

I am always happy with the job they do! Unlike the horror stories you usually hear about car shops, the guys at Lee Adams know what’s up. My last car was quite literally held together by duct tape and chicken wire, so you can imagine all the times I came in because this didn’t work or that rattling didn’t sound good.
They’re very honest and upfront with your problems, how long it will take to get fixed, and how much it will be. Any problem they’ve ever fixed has never come back – making it a good-quality repair in my book!
The guys at Lee Adams aren’t very talkative, but I’m pretty sure it’s because they’re so focused on fixing your car. If they were able to keep my old car running, I’m pretty sure these guys can fix anything! They get bonus points for all the Colts and Butler decorations on the walls.
